You particularly appreciate their true value when they are not at hand: thermostat faucets for the shower. Not only do they help to quickly adjust the desired temperature for the pleasant gush, they are almost a must for modern bathrooms for safety reasons as well.
This is because with traditional shower systems (double-hand faucets and one-hand mixers) it is easily possible that the water will not come out of the shower head as planned, but much colder or warmer. An undesirable rise of temperature often takes place already when during the shower at the same time the lavatory flush is activated. For a moment, the cold water in the shower is missing, and immediately the water temperature rises considerably here – scalding quite possible! Things get quite uncomfortable as well when somewhere else in the house hot water is tapped and, as a consequence, the temperature under the shower decreases rapidly.

In this field, the new faucets “Grohtherm 1000“, “Grohtherm 2000“ and “Grohtherm 3000“ are “at the top of the game“. Within a mere 0.3 seconds, due to TurboStat® technology, they automatically adjust the temperature. The particularly high-grade thermostats, as for instance “Grohtherm 3000“, all around are insulated in a way that makes sure you cannot get burned at them anymore. The so-called CoolTouch® surface makes sure that the body of the faucet and all its component parts are in no place more than one degree warmer than the water coming out.
With the “Grohtherm 3000“, the scale is installed on an antireflection surface and easily legible with its clear symbolism. In addition, the scales for temperature and the quantity of water are, in contrast to other manufacturers‘ products, to be found not at the handle, but at the body of the faucet. In the course of the turning of the handles, therefore, the scales do not “start rotating“ – you always keep maximum control in the shower. By means of the so-called EasyLogic®, operating under ergonomic terms is optimal for all users.
